The Vatican & Mexico

This may insult those with delicate religious sensibilities.

What causes most of Mexico's problems? Well I do not think that you need a neuroscience degree to realise that along with much more, the problems start in Rome. Not only does the old pole go around the planet spouting off against birth control, but the whole catholic ideology counters well being, happiness, and advancement. The catholic ideology also teaches servitude and subservience, and the results are millions of unwanted children born into an uncaring world destined for a life of poverty, misery, and despair.

The growth rate for Mexico is phenomenal, and the country resultantly faces severe problems. Mexico, with all it's agricultural capability must still import tremendous amounts of food, including such basics as corn. It can only get worse. The barrios in the D.F. are overflowing, but nothing is being done to rectify the problem. I really believe that all Mexico's creditors, including Canada and the U.S.A., should force Mexico to comply with population growth guidelines in order to continue receiving aid.

The catholic servitude and subservient attitudes are why there is so much corruption in Mexico, along with, you guess it, Latin America, Italy, etc. The citizens are brought up to believe that their place in life cannot be improved, and that they cannot change it. Until there are fundamental religious and ideological changes, there can be no substantial improvement.

Another interesting fact that I read in the Economist, when in Mexico, was the economic growth rate in South East Asia. I consider that they are faced with similar challenges to Mexico. Well, all the counties there, except one, had double digit annual growth in the last ten years. What was that one country? Well the catholic one, of course; the Philippines. Also, Europe has the same demographic demarcation, the catholic countries have very poor (financial) growth compared to the non-catholic nations.
