Madagascar Tour 2010 Day 3 (20101223)

On the third day, I got up for a 6:00 walk in the forest, and we were greeted by some rare mongoose lemurs. At 10:00, we left Ankarafantsika National Park for a gruelling day long drive up to Ambilobe, arriving at 19:00, after a few hours driving in the dark rain. The highway itself was mostly new, straight, and barren, and we saw very little traffic. The island has plenty of room for increased tourism.
