On the road to the Ivoloina Parc Zoologique, this shot shows up the Ivandro River where dugout boats
are poled along to gather sand. The sand is first shoveled into the boats from along sandbars, then
shoveled out and up the banks, and finally shoveled into trucks when there is enough for a full
load. This is definitely a third world operation {:-)
