An acana centroamericana (Jacana
spinosa) taking off from the laguna de la Barra de Colotepec. There were three, which I
had never seen before and seemingly oblivious to my presence, feeding in some nearby reeds, but when
I approached closer for a better shot, they took off. I thought the shot was bad, as the eye did
not show, but after viewing other photos, the eyes are very dark
