Whales on the B.C. Coast, 2009-08-31 (20091004)

I took the ferry from Prince Rupert to Port Hardy on 2009-08-31, and while I was hoping to see some whales, I sure wasn't expecting to see over 30! Incredible! Anyway, they were mostly humpbacks (Megaptera novaeangliae), and I missed a big jump, as I had become too complacent by then. These are some shots from my collection, and I decided to keep them on a separate page, as there were so many, and the photographic quality may not be the best
