South Africa-1 2011 (20110408)

After travelling over 10 hours from Tamatave, I finally ended up late in the evening in Capetown . I was then driven to the Victoria & Alfred hotel on the waterfront, where I stayed the next few nights.

I went for a day tour the next morning visitng the Cape Peninsula, which was very interesting, as not only did the prosperity and high living standard impress me, but also the scenery and wildlife. The Table Mountain National Park at the cape had some intrersing animals including feral ostriches.

On Monday, I was fortunate to get my Malagasy visa in 20 minutes, so I ended up unsuccessfully searching for a WIFi router, and walking around the waterfront, which was more or less like a glorified Granville Island.
