Chacahua 2018-09(20180930)

We visited Chacahua on 2018-09-22, and while many birds species were on vacation up north, there was still a preponderance of local avian life to shoot. There seemed to be way more herons than usual, and I do not remember so many pedrete Gallego. The birds were predominately along the river between the two lagoons in the mangroves.

I have been concerned about my camera's focusing ability, but after shooting for the day from a quickly moving boat, and obtaining a much better than anticipated keeper ratio, I guess the 'problems' were unfounded.

I divided this page into two sections, first Birds and the remainder into Environs.
