A shot from inside the Accademia in Firenze, where photography was prohibited, but I never knew
until after this shot. The irony is that this is a replica of the real statue out on public display
in the Palazzo Vecchio.
Farther inside the museum, the "real" David is displayed, but I wondered if the same situation
existed with it? {:-)
I had rushed over to see the Accademia on the last morning before we departed Firenze, as it had
received rave reviews, but overall, I think it was a bit overhyped
