Madagascar South Day 5 (20110619)

On the fifth day, we left Setam Lodge in the morning, and started a long drive through Fianarantsoa to end up at the luxurious Relais de la Reine in Isolo National Park. We visited a winery and super neat nature reserve on the way. What blew my mind was how barren the landscape was. It looked exactly like the western U.S.A. It was a grim reminder of how man has ravaged our planet, as at one time it was all fully forested.
