The ruins of Hospital San
Nicolás de Bari, the New World's first hospital in Santo Domingo, interestingly lit up at
dusk. We walked around a few blocks the evening we arrived in Santo Domingo to see the sites and
sights. By coincident fortune, we saw almost everything there was, as the next day our paid tour
guide took us on the same route.
