IMG_4907 Information (updated 20120620)

[image] We met a tour guide in the morning at the oldest fortress in the Americas. After touring the colonial zone, Juan drove us to see the ancient caves known as Tres Ojos, which were spectacular, and well worth the diversion. They were originally used by colonial era Indians to escape and hide from the Spanish, but in a 16xx earthquake, the roof fell in on the main cavern, exposing the cave formation where this serene iguana lived
